[Oshi no Ko] The opening theme for the third season of the anime is Chanmina

It has been revealed that singer-songwriter and rapper Chanmina-san will be performing "TEST ME," the opening theme for the third season of the TV anime series "Oshi no Ko"(Shueisha). The second promotional video featuring the song has been released, along with a "mid-career" visual for the third season, depicting characters who have made their mark in the entertainment industry.

Chanmina commented, "When I was approached, I wanted to create a song that tackles things like 'resentment' and 'jealousy.' I wrote this song with the theme of 'resentment' in mind, and in relation to the work ' Oshi no Ko', as a way to inspire myself. I hope everyone will love this song along with ' Oshi no Ko'."

"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka , who also wrote " Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, " and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , who also wrote " Scum's Wish ." It was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024. It tells the story of twin siblings left behind by the sudden death of a genius idol named Ai. The younger twin, Ruby, admires her mother and enters the entertainment industry, while the older brother, Aqua, vows to take revenge on their biological father, who is believed to have accomplices in Ai's murder. The comic has sold over 25 million copies worldwide.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season from July to October 2024. A live-action adaptation has also been a hot topic. The third season will air on TOKYO MX and 36 other stations nationwide from 11:00 PM on January 14, 2026.
