Actor and model Mai Shiraishi appeared at the "SUIT SQUARE Ambassador Appointment & New CM Announcement" event for apparel brand SUIT SQUARE held in Tokyo on September 18th. It was announced that Shiraishi has been appointed as the brand's ambassador and model for the new women's style series "CHANTOWA." In reference to the concept of the new series, when asked about "something that didn't go over well and went wrong," Shiraishi shared an anecdote about socks.

Shiraishi said, "There are a lot of them..." and then blushed as she revealed, "Recently, when I go out wearing sneakers, I've been wearing pure white socks with slightly different designs on each side. When I got to the set and took my shoes off, I realized, 'Oh, they're different.' It's a mistake that only I noticed, but..."

"SUIT SQUARE" is an apparel brand developed by Aoyama Trading Co., Ltd., which completed its rebranding from "THE SUIT COMPANY" in September this year and has now launched as "SUIT SQUARE" in all stores. Visuals and a new commercial for the new women's style series "CHANTOWA," in which Shiraishi appears, have also been released.
