A new visual for the final season of the TV anime series " My Hero Academia, " based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), entitled "Go for it, Izuku Midoriya," has been released. The visual, directed at episode 8 (167th episode overall), "Izuku Midoriya: Rising," which will air on November 22nd, depicts Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, running towards All For One with a desperate expression on his face.
In the 7th episode (166th episode overall), "From Aizawa-kun," which aired on November 15th, Tomura Shigaraki's transformation into Shimura Tenku, leaving him in a desperate situation when the Demon King All For One completely takes over his body. His classmates from Class 1-A at U.A. High School and his homeroom teacher, the pro hero Aizawa Shota, rush to his aid and save Deku from his predicament. The next episode, "Izuku Midoriya: Rising," will depict the final battle between Deku and the other heroes and All For One.
On the day of the broadcast of "Izuku Midoriya: Rising" on November 22nd, a special live YouTube edition of the show's web radio show, "All Might Nippon," will be featured. Hosted by Daiki Yamashita , who voices Deku, and Nobuhiko Okamoto , who voices Katsuki Bakugo , Yoshino Hiroyuki, who voices Present Mic, will also appear. Present Mic is a character who is a professional hero, a teacher at U.A. High School, and a radio DJ who hosts the radio program "Present MIC's Puchahenza Radio." The live stream will be a collaboration between "All Might Nippon" and "Puchahenza Radio." Part 1 will be streamed live on YouTube from 5:00 PM on November 22nd, and Part 2 will be streamed live from 6:00 PM on the same day.
On X, TikTok, and Instagram, messages of support using the hashtag "Ganbare Izuku Midoriya" are being collected. Just like people all over the world in the series, this project will encourage Deku in the real world as well. Some of the messages will be featured in the special edition of "All Might Nippon." Some of the messages will also be used in the newly designed special visual "Ganbare Izuku Midoriya."
"My Hero Academia" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from July 2014 to August 2024. Set in a world where approximately 80% of the population possesses supernatural powers and quirks, the series follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, as he strives to become the greatest hero. The comics have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2016, the second from March to September 2017, the third from April to September 2018, the fourth from October 2019 to April 2020, the fifth from March to September 2021, the sixth from October 2022 to March 2023, and the seventh from May to October 2024. The "FINAL SEASON" is currently airing every Saturday at 5:30 pm on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV.
