It was announced on December 19th that the Japanese title of Steven Spielberg's latest film, "DISCLOSURE DAY," will be "Disclosure Day," and that it will be released in Japan in the summer of 2026. A Teaser trailer has also been released.
The film stars Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson (the daughter of U2's Bono), Colman Domingo, and others. The screenplay is written by David Koepp, who has worked with Blunt on previous projects.
The newly released trailer begins with an ominous narration. The scene is set in a news studio. The weather Caster(Blunt) is reading the forecast as usual, when her voice gradually begins to change. The eerie, strange "sound" unnerves all the staff on the floor... Then, a mysterious man (O'Connor) announces that "all humanity has the right to know the truth," and "we're going to reveal it. To the whole world at once," announcing that a huge truth that will shake the history of mankind will be made public...
