A new commercial for Koikeya's snack "Pure Potato" starring actor Ryusei Yokohama, titled "Pure Potato: 100% Domestic Potatoes You Can't Stop Eating" began airing nationwide on August 19th.

In the commercial, Yokohama plays a salaryman who catches eye with a girl and is inspired by the sound and appetizing aroma of her eating pure potatoes, and sprints through the city in search of pure potatoes.

Filming took place on a cloudless midsummer day. Under the scorching sun, Yokohama, clad in a suit, repeatedly sprinted over 100 times. After finishing filming, Yokohama reflected, "This was the most physically difficult shoot of the year." Behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot and an interview have also been released.
