Actress Yo Yoshida appeared at the opening day photocall (second night) of the exhibition "Bvlgari Kaleidos: Color, Culture, Craft" held at the National Art Center, Tokyo (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on September 24th. Wearing a necklace adorned with a 23.59-carat sapphire, Yoshida introduced the piece, saying, "The brilliant blue of the sapphire harmonizes with the translucent diamonds, making it an absolutely stunning piece. The lace, a traditional Bvlgari motif, fits smoothly to the shape of the neck, and it feels surprisingly comfortable to wear."
Regarding her outfit for the day, she said, "I wore a black jacket dress, imagining the blue sea emerging in the pitch black night." When asked, "If you were to compare yourself to a color," she replied, "I would like to be colorless if possible. I would like to be able to change into any color, and I would like to be an actor who lives the life of the character, so that viewers can genuinely empathize with the work and the character, and enjoy the story."
The exhibition will shed light on the Roman high jeweler Bvlgari's unparalleled mastery of color. It will feature approximately 350 high jewelry masterpieces from the Bvlgari Heritage Collection and private collections, as well as contemporary art, rare documents from the Bvlgari Historical Archive, and interactive installations. The exhibition will run until December 15th.
Bulgari ambassadors Pia Wurtzbach, Hiroshi Abe, Itaya Yuka, Nanao, and Emma Miyazawa also appeared at the photocall.
