Freelance announcer Aiko Kaito received the "NEW YOUNG OF THE YEAR 2025" award (sponsored by the executive committee), which recognizes "people who embody the 'new youth' that enjoys life positively without being bound by age," and attended the awards ceremony held in Tokyo on November 6th. Minato, 41, won in the Over 40 category. She wore a cute and mature look, consisting of a black, strapless dress layered over a white shirt.
The dress had a sophisticated design with a thick belt and asymmetrical hemline. She paired it with strappy pumps and her hair tied in a high ponytail, which matched perfectly.
Minamoto commented, "I was surprised that I was the right person to receive the award, but I am very honored. I will continue to work hard so that I become someone worthy of this award."
Other recipients of the award in the Over 60 category were Mao Daichi, Hideki Takahashi, and Shingo Yanagisawa. Minato was awarded the prize for "his youthful appearance, unchanged since his debut, inspiring many people of his age."
