It has been revealed that the popular wine manga "Kami no Shizuku" will be adapted into a TV anime. It will be broadcast and streamed on TOKYO MX, Kansai TV, and other channels in 2026. This will be the first time the work has been adapted into an anime. It has also been announced that Kamenashi Kazuya, who played the main character, Kamisaki Shizuku, in the TV drama that aired on Nippon TV in 2009, will also star in the anime. Kamenashi will be playing Kamisaki Shizuku again after about 16 years. It has also been revealed that Takuya Sato will play Tomine Issei, Uchida Maaya will play Murasakinohara Miyabi, and Ginga Banjo will play Kamisaki Toyotaka.
On November 20th, Kamenashi and director Ito Masashi appeared at a production announcement held in Tokyo and shared some stories from the production.
