A cinema concert and talk show for the film "I Wish I Could Meet You Again on the Hill Where That Flower Blooms" (directed by Narita Yoichi), starring actors Haruka Fukuhara and Koshi Mizukami, was held in Tokyo on August 8th, and it was announced as a surprise that a sequel, "If I Met You Again, On the Hill Where Those Stars Fall," will be made into a film.

The event featured Fukuhara, Ito Kentaro, Onozuka Hayato, and original author Shiomi Natsue.

The original work is Shiomi's novel series of the same name (Starts Publishing Bunko), which became a hot topic on TikTok, especially among teenagers, and has sold a total of 500,000 copies. Yuri (Fukuhara), a high school girl who is frustrated and dissatisfied with everything, including her parents and school, one day gets into a fight with her mother and runs away from home. When she wakes up, she finds herself in wartime Japan in 1945. She is saved by Akira (Mizukami) who happens to be passing by, and Yuri is increasingly drawn to his sincerity and kindness. However, Akira is a member of a kamikaze squad, and is destined to soon risk his life to fly to the battlefield... This is the story.
