It has been announced that the film "Digger," starring actor Tom Cruise, will be released in 2026. The film will be directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, who won the Academy Award for Best Director two years in a row for "Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)" and "The Revenant."
The first Teaser trailer has also been released. It's like an "ultra teaser" with limited information, and the only information given in the 60-second video is that it will be directed by Iñárritu and will star Cruise. It also includes footage of a character presumably played by Cruise dancing to music while holding a shovel, along with the tagline "An extraordinary disaster comedy."
