Akari's (Kayo Noro) unusual press conference announcing her candidacy, in which she declared her nominations for Mari (Kuroki), Igarashi (Kenji Iwatani), and Hotaru (Shishido Kavka) as deputy governors, was met with great surprise.
Furthermore, YouTuber Toru (Keisuke Watanabe) exposes that Mari, Igarashi, and Hotaru had all been abandoned by Takaomi (Yajuro Bando), the secretary-general of the Democratic Party, and driven out of politics. This strategy proves successful, and the "Team Akari" fight for revenge begins to capture the hearts of voters.
Around the same time, members of the Minseito party who were dissatisfied with Takaomi all submitted their resignations. They joined forces with former Tokyo branch chairman Kuzumaki (Keisuke Yuki Kaji Kaji) in the Tokyo gubernatorial election. Amidst all this, a mysterious woman (Noriko Hidaka), who sympathizes with Akari's vision of "creating a safe and secure society," visits the election office. She offers to participate as an election volunteer. Mari and the others welcome her, but the woman confides a serious problem to them...
The drama is an election entertainment series in which the protagonist, played by Kuroki, who has been ousted from the political world, becomes an election strategist and recruits a bar owner who is a political novice, as he takes on the Tokyo gubernatorial election.
