The sixth episode of the drama series "Galaxy Vote" (Kansai TV/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10 PM), starring actress Haru Kuroki, aired on May 25th. The past of exposé YouTuber Toru Shirakaba (Keisuke Watanabe), who has joined "Team Akari," was revealed, and many viewers were moved to tears, with comments spreading on social media.

Toru is a YouTuber who deals with political scandals and racks up an overwhelming number of views. Mari (Kuroki) asks for his cooperation, believing that the best way to increase Akari's (Noro Kayo) fame is to "go viral online."
Tohru once met Akira (Ayumu Mochizuki) when he was feeling hopeless about the world and wanted to disappear. At Akira's suggestion, they named their duo "Bright Blind" and started streaming videos together. The days they spent together were invaluable, but Akira, who was visually impaired, was involved in a hit-and-run accident and lost his life.
"If you commit suicide, you go to the same place as the people who died by other means, and apparently it's incredibly difficult."
Believing the words Akira had uttered before he died, Tohru decided, "On the day he died, I decided to die in a way that God wouldn't find out it was suicide. I have no use for a world without him." Now alone, Tohru began to deal with dangerous topics in his video streaming.
The revelation of Tohru's past sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with comments such as: "'I have no use for a world without him,' Tohru said, and I couldn't stop crying after that," "I wanted to see more of Tohru and Akira laughing together, tears," "The relationship between Akira and Tohru was so good it hurt. The drama is an "election entertainment" story in which Mari Hoshino scouts Akari Tsukioka, a bar owner with no political experience, to be her election strategist, and together they take on the Tokyo gubernatorial election.
