As part of a special project commemorating the 45th anniversary of the manga magazine "Young Magazine" (Kodansha), it has been announced that the 10th-anniversary issue of "Young Magazine" (No. 30) from 1990, originally released in 1990, will be reprinted. The cover will feature "BE-BOP-HIGHSCHOOL," which sparked the yankee manga boom, and will come with a special bonus: a digest of the 1989 issue No. 8 of "Young Magazine Pirate Edition" and a clear file featuring the cover of the 10th-anniversary issue.
The magazine will also feature classic works such as "Hello Harinezumi," "Gorillaman," "Hageshii na! Sakurai-kun," "Daimon TAKE2," "Shakotan Boogie," "3x3 Eyes," and "Judo Club Story." The cover of the "pirate edition" will feature "Ghost in the Shell." It will be released on June 1st.
Known by its abbreviation "Yanmaga," "Young Magazine" was first published in June 1980 and became a weekly publication in 1989. It has produced numerous hit works such as "AKIRA," "Go! Inachu Table Tennis Club," "Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji," "Initial D," and "The Fable."
