Actress Miki Nakatani appeared at the "evian 200th Anniversary New Bottle Media Presentation" held at the French Embassy (Minato-ku, Tokyo) on May 21st. Nakatani, who is a regular drinker of Evian, serves as the "Evian 200th Anniversary JAPAN Ambassador." She appeared in a dress that she said was inspired by a water spirit, showcasing her beautiful skin. "Since this is a momentous 200th anniversary celebration, I wanted to express that feeling, so I wore this dress with the image of a water spirit in mind," she said.
When asked about Evian's 200th-anniversary concept of "Still youthful and exciting," she touched upon the brand's commitment to preserving its heritage while looking towards the future, saying, "I feel that I myself have learned that as I live my life going forward, I should never rest on my laurels but continue to challenge myself."
At the event, limited-edition bottles commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Evian brand were unveiled. Each bottle incorporates one of five themes that symbolize Evian: "culture," "water source," "youthfulness," "history," and "sports." Designs by Jeff Koons, a leading figure in contemporary art, are also featured. The limited-edition bottles will be released sequentially starting May 25th.
