The synopsis and still images for episode 6 of the TV Asahi drama series "Reborn ~The Last Hero~" (Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring actor Issei Takahashi, have been released. The episode will air on May 19th.
Mitsunori Neo (played by Issei Takahashi in a dual role), who has been reincarnated as Hideto Nomoto (played by Issei Takahashi), suddenly collapses during the spring festival in Akari Shopping Street. However, supported by Sarasa (played by Anne Nakamura), he is hospitalized for tests and returns to his normal life. But he feels a touch of unease, wondering if he will have to pay some kind of price for living as Hideto using his memories from his past life, and what the future holds for him.
Meanwhile, through Tomono (played by Ouji Suzuka), Hideto receives an offer of employment from Mitsunori Neo, a man living in this era, and agrees to become an advisor to NEOXIS. Having completed his own company building, Mitsunori Neo moves towards entering the Tokyo Olympics-related business and acquiring a bank. Hideto knows that these plans will deal a blow to NEOXIS in the future, and tries to advise them to avoid it, but because he can only offer intuition as the basis for his advice, the executives do not accept it.
Meanwhile, Hideto is introduced to Ichimanda (Yoshiyuki Tsubokura), the president of Soman, by Togo (Masachika Ichimura), who highly values his "ability to foresee the future." Togo and Ichimanda, wanting to see his ability put to the test, entrust Hideto with predicting the outcome of a horse race. Furthermore, in order to save Hideko (Kayoko Kishimoto), who is in dire straits in the Akari shopping district, he decides to try his luck at the horse races, using his "memories of the future" to predict the results...
The drama tells the story of a man who is reborn as a different person and given a second chance at life. The script is written by Hiroshi Hashimoto, who has also written dramas such as "The Grand Family" (TBS), "Job Hunting Family: It'll Surely Work Out," "Adult High School," and "Sky Castle" (all on TV Asahi).
