It was Ai Mikami on May 11th that the average weekly viewership rating (calculated from Asadora , Juri Kosaka region - same applies below) for the sixth week of the NHK morning drama series " Kaze,Kaoru" (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), titled "Tenkyu no Kyoshitsu" (May 4-8), was 13.1% for households and 7.2% for individuals.
"Kaze,Kaoru" is the 114th morning Asadora. Based on the story of two trained nurses, Chika Ozeki and Masa Suzuki, who graduated from the same nursing school, the drama depicts how the two grow through their struggles and clashes with each other in how to interact with patients and doctors, and eventually become the "ultimate buddy" team. Mikami plays the main character, Rin Ichinose, and Uesaka plays the other main character, Naomi Oya.
In the sixth week, Burns (Emma Howard) finally arrives in Japan, and nursing classes begin in earnest. Naomi (Uesaka) and Tae (Ikuta Erika) act as interpreters as the classes progress, but the content is full of incomprehensible things. Even when Rin (Ai Mikami) asks questions, Burns refuses to answer, and the students' frustration grows.
One day, a mock lesson is held on nursing a cholera patient. Rin recalls her past, but Burns, who sees her reaction, delivers a harsh remark to her. After the lesson, while talking with Naomi, Rin reconsiders her approach to nursing and prepares for the next day's lesson.
Meanwhile, Tae, whose marriage arrangements were progressing at her family home, collapses with a high fever. Rin, Naomi, and the others, worried about her, rush into her room one after another to nurse her, but things don't go smoothly. Burns orders everyone to remember their assignment.
Meanwhile, Tae's father (played by Mutsuo Yoshioka) comes to the school. Against her father's wishes, Tae declares that she will stay at school and become a nurse...and the story unfolds from there.
