Nippon Television's new news program, "Investigative Reporting news LOG" (Saturdays at 10 PM), will feature the boxing match of the century, "Naoya Inoue vs. Junto Nakatani," in its May 2nd broadcast.
The program will provide in-depth coverage of the "biggest" boxing match in Japanese history, taking place on the night of the broadcast. Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani, both undefeated with 32 wins, will finally clash, two of the strongest boxers in the world. This match, in which both fighters are determined to liven up the boxing world, will see what kind of excitement will be generated at the Tokyo Dome, watched by approximately 55,000 fans.
The program followed both fighters, Inoue and Nakatani, for two months leading up to the match. It conveyed the fighters' dedication and feelings leading up to the fight, as well as the passionate fans and the various phenomena that unfolded in the city, providing the fastest and most in-depth coverage of the match results.
Furthermore, a live, exclusive interview with the winner will be broadcast after the match. Main Caster Mayuko Wakuda and others will conduct the interview directly, connecting the studio with Tokyo Dome.
