Many viewers are reminiscing about the show, particularly the lines that became a hot topic, such as "You useless pig!" and "Call me Lady Kayo!", as well as the outrageous content, such as the bizarre dish "cowhide wallet steak" that she prepared for her cheating husband. "Peony and Rose" tells the story of how the fates of two half-sisters, who meet through a certain incident, become intricately intertwined. The older sister, Botan (Mayo), is played by Nanako Okochi, and the younger sister, Kayo, is played by Shinju Ozawa.
