Model and actress Reina Triendl appeared in a white mini-dress at the premiere screening of the film "Mystery Arena" (releasing May 22), starring Toshiaki Karasawa and directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi, held in Tokyo on April 22. This was Triendl's first public appearance since giving birth to her first child in February of this year.
In November 2024, Trindl announced her marriage to actor Naohiro Yamamoto. In January of this year, she announced in a magazine that she was pregnant with her first child, and on February 22nd, she announced that she had given birth.
Trindl played Monteleone Reika, the assistant to Kabayama (played by Karasawa), who was the host of the drama, and she also tried her hand at dancing. Trindl said that she was worried about the dance scenes, so she went to the filming location in the countryside and told Karasawa about her concerns, to which he laughed and said, "It's easy."
In addition to Karasawa and Ashida Mana, Toko Miura, Triendl Reina, Okuno So, Nomaguchi Toru, Tamayama Tetsuji, Asano Yuko, director Tsutsumi, and original author Fukamizu Reiichiro were also in attendance.
The original work is the novel of the same name by Reiichiro Fukamizu (Kodansha Bunko), which has been ranked in numerous lists, including first place in the "Top 10 Authentic Mysteries" (2016). "Mystery Arena" is a hugely popular live mystery quiz show hosted by Momotaro Kabayama (played by Karasawa). No one has been able to solve the seemingly impenetrable mystery questions for several consecutive weeks, and the prize money has rolled over to 10 billion yen. The question presented this time is "A murder that occurred in an isolated Western-style mansion during a storm." Can the six hand-picked contestants, who are confident in their deductive abilities, solve this mystery...?
