On April 18th, Manami Ono of the idol group Hinatazaka46 appeared at the fashion and music event "Rakuten GirlsAward 2026 SPRING/SUMMER," held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo).
Ono, who has been an exclusive model for the women's fashion magazine "CanCam" (Shogakukan) since March of this year, walked the runway for the first time in a fashion show. Appearing on the "MONO-MART" stage in a half-pants outfit that highlighted her slender, beautiful legs, she displayed a confident walk that was hard to believe was her first time, and flashed a cute smile.
Ohno was born on May 5, 2007, making her 18 years old. She joined Hinatazaka46 as a 5th generation member last March. Immediately after joining, she stood out with her exceptional expressive abilities, and was chosen as the center for their 16th single, "Cliffhanger," released in January of this year. She is a new ace who is being hailed as an "exceptional talent."
GirlsAward started in May 2010 and this will be its 29th event. Numerous models and actors will walk the runway in the latest fashions, and there will also be special stages for Fuji TV's Getsuku drama "Canned Mackerel Goes to Space" and the animated film "Sgt. Sgt. Frog Revives and Immediately Faces the Crisis of Earth's Destruction!" which will be released on June 26th.
