The non-credit versions of the opening and ending sequences for the TV anime "Atelier of Witch Hat," based on the manga by Kamome Shirahama, have been released on YouTube.
The opening video features the opening theme song "Kaze no Anthem" feat. suis from Yorushika by Eve, and is a dynamic video set in a fantastical magical world that looks like it jumped out of a picture book, featuring Coco, who has started her journey as a wizard's apprentice, Kieffrey, and the other unique members of the atelier.
The ending sequence begins with Coco descending the stairs in the darkness, relying on candlelight, as the ending theme "Just a Beautiful Curse" by Nakamura Hak plays.
"Atelier of Witch Hat" tells the story of Coco, a girl who longs to be a wizard, as she steps into the mysterious world of magic. The manga began serialization in "Monthly Morning Two" (Kodansha) in 2016, and has sold over 7.5 million copies. It has been selected for manga awards in France, Spain, South Korea, and other countries, and in 2020 won the Eisner Award for Best Asian Work, attracting attention from around the world. The anime adaptation is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
