Fist of the North Star:The ending theme for the new anime is "Ai wo Torimodose!!" (Take Back the Love!!), a cover of the famous song by Toshl.

It has been revealed that Toshl of the band "X JAPAN" is in charge of the ending theme for "Fist of the North Star," a brand new anime based on the popular manga "Fist of the North Star," which was a huge hit in the 1980s. Toshl has covered "Ai wo Torimodose!!," a famous song known as the opening theme for the "Fist of the North Star" TV anime that aired in 1984.

Toshl said, "I was given the honor of singing the ending theme 'Ai wo Torimodose!!' for the new 'Fist of the North Star'. I am truly honored that this masterpiece, which has transcended countless eras and been etched into the souls of many, has been entrusted to us in this era. Facing this story of destiny where one must bear sorrow and continue to stand because of love, I poured my resolve into every single note. If this song, which plays during the ending credits, can awaken the 'essence of strength' residing in people's hearts along with the lingering emotions of the story, then as a singer, I will have no regrets whatsoever."

It was Kenji Nomura will play Zeed, a villain who repeatedly plunders in a gang; Jin Urayama will play Misumi, an old man who gathers rice seeds to solve the village's food shortage; and Takehiro will play Spade, a KING executive.

"Fist of the North Star" is a manga series written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara , serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 1983 to 1988. Set in 199X, in a post-nuclear war world ruled by violence, it depicts the growth of Kenshiro, the successor to the legendary assassination martial art Hokuto Shinken, as he battles powerful enemies including his brother Raoh. The comic books have sold over 100 million copies in total.

It was adapted into a TV anime in 1984, achieving a peak viewership rating of 23.4%. It became a social phenomenon with its memorable lines, such as "You are already dead." Theatrical anime films and OVAs (Original Video Animations) were also produced. A musical adaptation also garnered attention.

The new anime was produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of "Fist of the North Star." Shunsuke Takeuchi will voice Kenshiro, and the cast will include Koji Yusa Daiki Yamashita as Bat, M・A・O as Rin, Koji Yusa as Shin, Saori Hayami as Yuria, Wataru Takagi as Jagi, Tsuguo Mogami as Toki, and Taiten Kusunoki as Raoh.

The series began airing on TOKYO MX and BS11 at 1 AM on April 10th. It is also available for worldwide exclusive streaming on Prime Video. There are some differences in the direction between the Prime Video streaming version and the television broadcast version; the uncensored streaming version includes all violent and grotesque scenes, while the milder television broadcast version is suitable for all ages.
