Singer Keiko Utoku (59) appeared on the 3-hour special of the talk variety show "Odoru! Sanma Goten!!" (Nippon Television Network), which garnered attention on social media.
The show featured three segments: "The Strongest Second Generation Parent-Child Visit," "Rare Surnames vs. Common Surnames," and "A Advice Session for People with Glasses." Utoku appeared in "Rare Surnames vs. Common Surnames." Apparently, there are only about 30 people in the whole country with the surname "Utoku," and Utoku said that since her name means "virtue of the universe," she feels like she's receiving power from the universe. She revealed, "I even write about it in my lyrics, so I sing about the power of the universe."
When Utoku, who was well-known for her roles in "BB Queens" and "Mi-Ke," made an appearance, she received a flood of praise on social media, with comments such as, "It's been a while since I've seen her! She's as beautiful as ever," "She's lovely then and now," and "You wouldn't think she's 59."
