The anime "The Irregular at Magic High School," based on the popular light novel series from Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA), is collaborating with the popular character Mameshiba for its theatrical film adaptation, "The Irregular at Magic High School: Yotsuba Succession Arc," and a collaboration commercial has been released. "The Irregular at Magic High School" and Mameshiba previously collaborated in 2017 when " The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Summons the Stars" was released, and this collaboration marks their second collaboration after approximately nine years. Mameshiba Tatsuya appears in the commercial.
"The Irregular at Magic High School" is set at the First High School Affiliated with the National Magic University (Magic High School), which trains magic users, and depicts the adventures of siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba. The series has sold over 25 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2014, and the theatrical anime film "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Summons the Stars" was released in 2017. The second season of the TV anime, "The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc," aired in 2020, and "The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc" aired on January 1, 2022. The third season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2024. The theatrical anime film "The Irregular at Magic High School: Yotsuba Succession Arc" will be released on May 8.
