A Teaser trailer for "THE ONE PIECE," a brand new anime series based on Eiichiro Oda 's popular manga "ONE PIECE," has been released on YouTube. Produced by WIT STUDIO, known for works such as "SPY×FAMILY," the project will animate the East Blue arc of the original manga with completely new animation. The teaser trailer features character design sketches and image boards. Luffy, along with other formidable characters from the East Blue and "that person," make appearances.
"ONE PIECE" is currently airing as a TV anime produced by Toei Animation, and "THE ONE PIECE" is a separate project from the TV anime series that will push the boundaries of visual expression only possible now, depicting Luffy's adventures with a nostalgic yet fresh sense of realism.
"ONE PIECE" depicts the adventures of Luffy, a young man wearing a straw hat whose limbs can stretch like rubber, as he sails the high seas with his crew in pursuit of becoming the Pirate King. The manga began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) in 1997. The comic books have sold over 600 million copies worldwide. The TV anime began airing in 1999, and in October 2024, it celebrated its 25th anniversary.
