The 67th episode, "The Reason I'm Taking You Out / Gorgeous Tiger Reloaded," which will be the first episode of the fourth season of the TV anime "Re:Zero(Re:Zero)," based on the light novels from MF Bunko J (KADOKAWA), will begin airing on April 8th on TOKYO MX and other channels. The fourth season will consist of 19 episodes in total, divided into the "Loss Arc" (11 episodes) and the "Reclamation Arc" (8 episodes). The "Loss Arc" will begin airing on April 8th, and the "Reclamation Arc" will begin airing on August 12th.
Subaru and his friends managed to repel the attack by the Witch Cult's Archbishops of Sin, but the cost of their losses was great: some people were transformed by "Lust," and others had their names and memories stolen by "Gluttony." As they searched for a way to resolve the situation, they decided to head to the Pleiades Watchtower, where Shaula, one of the Three Heroes of Lugnica and the "Sage," resided, at Anastasia's suggestion. Meanwhile, Garfiel, who remained on Pristella to recuperate, visited his mother Riala's house with Mimi, as she had lost her memory.
"Re:Zero" is based on a light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka. The story follows Subaru, a high school student who is summoned to another world and gains the ability to rewind time whenever he dies. The original series has sold over 16 million copies.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2016, the first half of the second season aired from July to September 2020, the second half from January to March 2021, the third season's "Attack Arc" aired from October to November 2024, and the "Counterattack Arc" aired from February to March 2025.
