It has been announced that the TV anime "Kirio Fan Club," based on the manga by Earth's Fish Pon-chan, will be collaborating with Komae-yu, a public bathhouse in Komae City, Tokyo, in an event titled "Kirio Fan Club x Komae-yu ~I want to see Kirio-kun after his bath~". Komae-yu is a popular public bathhouse located in Komae City, which served as the model for "Kirio Fan Club." From April 10th to May 6th, collaboration curtains and panels will be installed, and original drawings from the anime will also be on display. On the start and end dates of the collaboration, as well as on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, a "löyly" (sauna steam) bath inspired by the scent of Kirio-kun will also be available.
Merchandise featuring the collaborative visual design will also be sold. The lineup includes items unique to public bathhouses, such as locker keychains and towels. During the event period, collaborative stamp cards will be available at the store, and those who collect two stamps will receive a "Glittering Mamo-chan Sticker." The stickers are limited to the first 100 people.
The series is a one-sided romantic comedy about high school girls Aimi Miyoshi and Nami Someya, who engage in endless fantasies and exchanges of love for their classmate Ken Kirio. It was serialized in "COMIC RUEL" (Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha) from 2022 to 2024. It gained popularity, ranking 6th in "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2024" (Women's Edition) and 10th in "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2025" (Women's Edition) for two consecutive years, and was also adapted into a live-action drama.
The anime is directed by So Toyama and produced by Satelight. It has been airing on the MBS/TBS anime block "Super Animeism TURBO" since April 2nd.
