Animec, a film distribution company established through a joint investment by Aniplex and KADOKAWA, announced its film lineup on April 3rd. The company will distribute highly anticipated titles such as "The Irregular at Magic High School: Yotsuba Succession Arc" (released May 8th), the theatrical version of the anime "The Irregular at Magic High School " based on a light novel from Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA); "Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table: 44: CLOUDY BEACH" (released July 10th), the new installment of the anime "Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table" based on a light novel from MF Puella Magi Madoka Magica(KADOKAWA); and " Puella Magi Madoka Magica".
From autumn onwards, several notable films are scheduled for release, including "Rascal Does Not Dream of Rascal Does Not Dream" (released October 16th), the theatrical anime adaptation of the light novel series "Rascal Does Not Dream Does Not Dream of Dear Friend" from Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA); "Made in Abyss: Awakening Mystery" (released October 23rd), the first film in the theatrical series of the anime "Made in Abyss" based on the manga by Akihito Tsukushi; and the theatrical film adaptation of the popular figure skating manga "Medalist" (scheduled for release in 2027).
