"Detective! Night Scoop" (ABC TV, Fridays at 11:17 PM) is a popular variety show where "detectives" tackle outlandish requests and worries submitted by viewers. On April 3rd, Detective Kanpei Hazama was in charge of the regular "late-night viewership survey." Special Director Shingo Murakami, Assistant Director Kemuri Matsui, and Secretary Saori Masuda also appeared on the show.
The request came from a 43-year-old woman in Osaka Prefecture. At her home, they often hold meetings on topics such as, "Can we come up with an interesting request?" and "What would we do if Kanpei-chan came to take a viewership survey while we were watching Night Scoop?" However, they still haven't come up with any decent ideas for a request.
Regarding the "viewership survey," my daughter and son confidently declared they would "harmonize Yuzu's 'Eikou no Kakehashi' and let Kanpei-chan hear it." My husband can "itch," and women make sure to take a bath after Night Scoop is over so they don't get ambushed while they're without makeup.
He's always welcome, but Detective Kanpei still hasn't come. I'd like to ask him to conduct a midnight viewership survey so that my wish may one day come true.
At 10:59 p.m., I rang the doorbell at the house of someone named "Mr. Murakami," who said, "I'm not wearing any makeup, so no. How about the house across the street? They're nice people," and recommended the person across the street. The person across the street said, "Do you know what time it is?" but invited me into their home and met the baby. The couple then saw me off.
From there, they visited one newlywed's home after another, but when they ran out of places to go, they visited "Mr. Murakami's" house again. There, he once again recommended a house. From then on, whenever they ran out of places to visit, they went back to "Mr. Murakami's" house. However, when they went to "Mr. Murakami's" house after the broadcast ended...
