An illustration depicting the "baton pass" from Suzuki, the protagonist of "You and I Are Polar Opposites, " to Koyuki , the protagonist of " The Ramparts of Ice ," has been released. A special PV in which Suzuki introduces " The Ramparts of Ice" and Koyuki introduces "You and I Are Polar Opposites" has also been unveiled.
"The Ramparts of Ice" is a popular manga series that has surpassed 160 million cumulative views on "LINE Manga" and has sold over 2 million copies of its collected volumes. It was serialized from January 2020 to April 2022. The story follows Hikawa Koyuki, who is not good at interacting with people and puts up walls between herself and others. At high school, she spends her time alone and doesn't interact with anyone except her childhood friend Azumi Miki, but for some reason she meets Amamiya Minato, who tries to get close to her, and Hino Yota, a laid-back and kind basketball club member... The anime will be broadcast nationwide simultaneously on 28 TBS network stations every Thursday at 11:56 AM starting April 2nd.
"You and I Are Polar Opposites" is a manga that was serialized on "Shonen Jump+" from May 2022 to November 2024. It is a romantic comedy depicting the love story between Suzuki, an energetic girl who is good at reading the atmosphere, and Tani, a quiet boy who can clearly express his opinions. The first season of the TV anime aired on MBS and TBS every Sunday at 5 PM from January, and the final episode aired on March 29th.
