A life-size bust of Godzilla from the movie "Godzilla Minus One," titled "Life-size Bust ' Godzilla Minus One' Godzilla (2023) Japanese Version" (PLEX), will be released. Manufactured by Prime 1 Studio, this massive diorama measures approximately 87 cm in height and 91 cm in length, and will cost 315,590 yen.
This diorama, themed around the "immense size of the monster," depicts it parting the sea and advancing. It features meticulously crafted details such as the rough waves splashing around its waist, the transparent, lens-like eyes with a wet-looking sheen, the contours of its muscles, and its powerful chest and arms. Great care was also taken in the sculpting and coloring, including the dark, subdued surface of its body, evoking the time it spent in the deep sea.
The mouth and the dorsal fin, which is painted with clear parts, have built-in LED units that emit a pale blue light. A miniature statue of the full body is also included. Pre-orders are being accepted at Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, "Premium Bandai". Shipping is scheduled for June 2027.
