It was announced on March 10th that "J⇔M," the latest work by Masao Otake, known for the manga "Hinamatsuri," will be made into a TV anime. Details of the anime will be announced in the future.
The story revolves around J, a lone assassin feared as an "untouchable" in the underworld, and Megumi, a lonely girl with no place to belong at home or at school, who end up switching bodies and living together. The series is currently being serialized in the web manga "Haruta Alter." The latest volume, volume 7, will be released on March 13th.
Otake commented, "It has been decided that 'JM' will be made into an anime! Thank you very much. I think that by turning 'JM' into a movie, action scenes and the like will be presented in a different way to the manga, making it even more enjoyable. Because it's a body-swap story, I think the voice acting in particular will add to the fun that can't be achieved in the manga. I'm personally looking forward to that. However, I'm sorry to the voice actors for the swapped characters, as it seems like it will be very difficult to play them. I hope you do your best!"
