To commemorate the release of the second volume of the manga " Subaru and Subaru " by Shuichi Shigeno, known for " Initial D" and "MF Ghost ," the character will appear in color inside the 15th issue of the serialized magazine "Young Magazine" (Kodansha), which will be released on Getsuku.
This manga follows "Initial D" and its "successor," "MF Ghost." The story follows the year after Takumi Fujiwara's student, Kanata Rivington, dominated the MFG street race, as Subaru Sato from Gunma and Comet Kudo from Kanagawa ignite their fighting spirit to take on the challenge. The worldviews of "Initial D" and "MF Ghost" overlap, depicting the "legend of the true fastest car on public roads" created by the two "Subarus."
The series began serialization in Young Magazine in July 2025.
