In episode 110, six months have passed in the blink of an eye, and Toki's due date has arrived. Heaven (Tommy Bastow), Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe), Takeru (Rairin Sugita), and Masaki (Yukito Hidaka) pray for a safe delivery and fire a gun at the pillar of the house. With Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki), Kuma (Toru Natsume), and the midwife (Fukiko Hara) looking on, Toki and Heaven's child is finally born... and that's how it unfolds.
The preview for the next week, Week 23, which was released after the broadcast, begins with Heaven calling out, "Nishikoori-san!" As the front door opens, Heaven stares at Nishikori's face for a while before bowing and saying, "Gobsata, Nishikoori-san." A shadowy image of Nishikori's back is shown in the foreground of the screen, and Nishikori bows and says, "It's been a while."
Nishikori has built a deep friendship with Heaven as her literary assistant. In the 95th episode (aired on February 13th), a shocking scene was depicted in which Nishikori coughed up blood in his room instead of showing up to see Heaven off as she headed to Kumamoto. Nishikori has not appeared in any scenes since then, but he will be returning to "Bakebake" for the first time in a long while.
Viewers have been eagerly awaiting Nishikori's return, and Hashizume revealed, "Next week will be Nishikori's week."
"Heaven's return to Matsue means that she will resolve the tension between her and Nishikori, with whom she has been clashing. The story with Nishikori, which was left unfinished, will continue. As a result, the relationship between Heaven and Nishikori will change, and many familiar faces will appear in Matsue for the first time in a long time. I think next week will be a nostalgic week for those who have watched the past 22 weeks," he said.
