Singer Goro Noguchi will be appearing on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. on March 6th.
He made his debut as a singer at the age of 15, and this year marks his 56th anniversary. The fact that his name is "Goro" also means that the 56th anniversary is a special one. He also turned 70 in February of this year. He looks back on his life as a singer so far, watching footage of his first appearance on the show at age 23.
He lost his mother in February of last year. It happened about two hours before the start of the first day of the concert. He had asked his wife, "If anything happens to my mother, please tell her after the concert." After the concert, Noguchi met his mother. He is grateful to his family for supporting him and not telling them the news of her passing. He revealed that he still regrets one particular "word" he said to his mother, who had supported his career as a singer since he was young.
