On March 3rd, Motoki Omori of the popular rock band Mrs. Green Apple attended the "Killing Good Ale Surpasses 50 Million Bottles! Thank You Event for the Huge Response" held in Tokyo. It was revealed that he played the role of the straight man to his co-stars in the commercial, including actress Haruka Ayase.
On this day, a new commercial for Kirin Beer's "Killing Good Ale," which was released last year, was unveiled. Looking back on the commercial shoot, Ayase said with a smile, "This was my third or fourth chance to meet everyone, and it feels like we're gradually becoming closer."
Suzuki Ryohei said about Ayase, "The signatures that Hamabe (Minami) and I wrote in the commercial were in kanji. When Ayase saw them, she said, 'Kanji is nice. I use the alphabet, so it looks childish.'" He pointed out, "Ayase's signature probably looks childish because she draws a bear's face at the end." Ayase blushed and said, "That might be true," to which Omori replied, "Ayase is a natural and innocent person, so that comes into play in filming."
After watching the exchange between the cast members, the MC said, "I understand that the commercial shoot progresses with everyone making jokes like this," to which Omori replied, "That's just the beginning." Suzuki also revealed, "I'm really frustrated that I can't think of any concrete examples, but Omori was making a lot of jokes during the shoot."
They were also asked to recreate the "great joy pose" they showed in the commercial, and Ayase, Hamabe, and Suzuki checked the pose, asking, "How do you do it again?", to which Omori showed them an example, saying, "It's like this," and added, "Don't you all remember? We filmed it, right?"
Mrs. GREEN APPLE's Wakai Koto and Fujisawa Suzuka also appeared at the event.
