Musician and TV personality DAIGO will appear in the 107th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake" (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM, etc.), which will be broadcast on March 3rd. This will be DAIGO's first appearance in an Asadora, and he will play the role of Yabui, the doctor who examines Toki (played by Akari Takaishi).
In episode 107, Haven (Tommy Bastow). However, despite Toki's efforts, his English isn't improving. One day, Haven and Toki witness Nagami (Onishi Nobumitsu) in tears. Furthermore, Toki suddenly collapses at the Matsuno residence while Haven is at work... And so the story unfolds.
DAIGO plays Yabui, a kind-hearted local doctor who is called a quack by the snake and frog.
"Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. Based on the life of Yakumo Koizumi(Lafcadio Hearn) and his wife Setsu, the story follows the life of a married couple, with the heroine, who loves ghost stories, as she goes about her everyday life with her foreign husband.

Originally, I had wanted to appear in Bakebake , which is set in my grandfather's hometown, Shimane. One day, I got a call from my wife, Otae ( Keiko Kitagawa ), who was in Osaka filming Bakebake .
Otae: "Looks like I can get out."
DAIGO: Huh?
Otae-san " Bakebake"
DAIGO: Huh?
So I used it for the first time in my life.

When I went to the shoot, the setting was Kumamoto, not Shimane, but I was so happy to meet Otoki, Fumi, and Tsukasanosuke, who I'd been watching all this time!
