Actor Sasaki Kuranosuke stars in the NHK BS period drama "Fuurai Gumo" (NHK BS/BS Premium 4K, Sundays at 6:45 PM). The subtitle of the seventh episode, which will be broadcast on March 8th, is "White Hoods and the Shinsengumi," and the synopsis and scene cuts have also been released.

"Fuurai Cloud" is a period drama based on the manga of the same name by George Akiyama. The setting is Shinagawa-shuku at the end of the Edo period. "Fuurai Cloud" is an eccentric man who wears a woman's kimono and has his hair tied in front of his forehead. With a fluffy and elusive appearance, he lives his days freely, but before you know it, he gently changes the destinies of others. It is a hymn to humanity filled with laughter and tears.
In episode 7, Tadatsugu (Nomura Shuhei), a wanderer who saved Kame (Kana Kurashina) from a thug, develops a high fever. Kame takes him to Yumeya and nurses him back to health. He tells Fuuragumo (Sasaki) that Tadatsugu is the mysterious White Hooded Hero who is causing a stir in society. Meanwhile, Shinnosuke (Kawahara Eito) visits the apprentice disciple of the ill Shibusawa (Satoi Kenta), but is ashamed when his charity is seen through.
Then, Furabigumo discovers that the person making Tadatsugu play the white hood is Shinsengumi's Ito Koshitaro (Watanabe Dai)... and so the story unfolds.
