The sixth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Suzuki Ryohei, will be broadcast on March 1st.
In the previous episode... After arresting Hayase (Suzuki) who was impersonating Gido, Gido (Suzuki) told Natsumi (Yamaguchi Sayaka) that he did not kill her and told her, "You are being deceived by Kogo Ichika (Toda Erika)."
Ichika contacts Gido. Ichika has taken Gido's wife, Mayu (Kuroki Meisa), hostage and demands that he release Hayase and come to a designated location by 10 o'clock.
Hayase and Gido decide to work together to help Mayu, and head to the apartment to retrieve the gun. However, Hayase is arrested by police including Makita (Ito Hideaki) there.
Episode 6: Meanwhile, Gido goes alone to Goroku's (Kitamura Yukiya) house to rescue Mayu. What awaits him is a carefully prepared trap. By the time he realizes it, he has already fallen into Goroku's trap...
While Hayase is being held captive and unaware of the truth, he receives a call from Gido. Gido is cornered, and Mayu is held captive. To save them, Hayase resolves to enter enemy territory not as a "police officer," but as a man.
The real culprit awaits them there: a huge underground organization. In a desperate situation, Hayase and Gido finally come face to face with the same enemy. At that moment, Gido shows his pride as a detective...
The screenplay is by Tsutomu Kuroiwa. It is a suspense story in which Hayase Riku, framed for the murder of his wife, abandons his family and past, reboots himself as a corrupt detective named Gido, and pursues the real culprit.
