It has been announced that the Gunpla model of D Gundam Second, which appears in the manga "Double Fake Under the Gundam" from the popular anime "Gundam" series, will be released as "HG 1/144 D Gundam Second" from Bandai Spirits' "HG" series. It will cost 3,080 yen.
The D Gundam Second, modified by Arahas for combat use, is being made into a 3D model for the first time in the "HG" series. The internal frame and intricate design visible in various places are reproduced in great detail. The connected beam rifle equipped with a grenade launcher is a newly sculpted model and can be connected to the backpack using the included lead wire. In addition to the beam saber, bazooka, and shield, it also comes with a drill gun, wired bomb, bird stick gun, magnet anchor, rivet gun, and more.
Pre-orders will be accepted from noon on February 26th on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai. Shipment is scheduled for May.
