It has been announced that the drama "Uegaki Delusional Life Plan," starring Fuji TV announcer Uegaki Kotaro and actor Goriki Ayame as themselves, will be exclusively streamed on the station's streaming service, FOD, from 8:00 PM on February 27th. This will be Uegaki's first drama appearance and first leading role.
Uegaki joined the company in April 2024. From her first year onwards, she became a hot topic, with people saying, "She's a rookie but she has so much presence!" She currently serves as the weather forecaster for "Mezamashi Doyoubi," as well as hosting "Mezamashi TV" and "Kamaimachi." She is also active as a live horse racing commentator.
This work is a fake documentary-style love drama that begins with the premise that the two are dating, and depicts the everyday lives of the two that will make you laugh. With scenes of cooking and conversations at the dinner table, it is said to express the warmth of everyday life as if you are peeking into the lives of the two people. There are two episodes in total.
Kamigaki commented, "I was interested in fake documentaries as a viewer, but I never imagined that I, an announcer, would be involved in creating one. I was extremely humbled and wondered why I was given this job, but I decided to make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
Looking back on the filming, which was her first attempt at acting, she said, "Goriki treated me very kindly and helped to relieve the anxiety and pressure I felt," and added, "I think the warm atmosphere that Goriki created is permeated throughout the entire film! I hope you can relax and enjoy it."
Goriki said, "I was able to take part in a very warm and heartwarming fantasy life plan! I found myself grinning when I watched it (laughs). But it was also a work that somehow made me feel at ease. I was completely relaxed during filming with announcer Kamigaki, and I was able to play the role of Goriki Ayame in a natural and enjoyable way! This fantasy life plan... is a work that is a little strange and gives you a sense of casual happiness; I hope it becomes a series. Please be sure to check it out!"
