It has been announced that a set of three reproductions of memorable cuts of Hathaway, Gigi, and Kenneth will be distributed from February 27th as a gift to moviegoers in the fifth week of release of the second chapter of the popular Gundam anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway's Flash (directed by Murase Shukou), Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: Circe's Witch. The set also comes with a mini-cut bag that can store the mini reproductions. Following the fourth week, the set will also include a promotional code for a "Special Stage Challenge Ticket to Commemorate the Release of G Generation Eternal," which can be used in the game "SD Gundam G Generation Eternal."
"Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway" is based on a novel published in 1989-90 by director Yoshiyuki Tomino, known as the creator of the "Gundam" series. Set in the year 0105 of the Universal Century, Hathaway, the son of Bright Noa, who experienced a bitter separation during the Second Neo Zeon War, pilots a new mobile suit, the Xi Gundam, and rises up in rebellion against the Earth Federation government.
It has been announced that the anime will be made up of three chapters, with the first chapter, released in June 2021, being a hit, grossing approximately 2.23 billion yen. The second chapter was released on January 30th on 431 screens, including IMAX. Just 22 days after its release, it has already been a hit, grossing 2 billion yen and attracting over 1.2 million viewers.
