"Bakeke" is the 113th morning drama. Based on the story of Lafcadio Hearn and his wife Setsu, the story follows a couple, with a heroine who loves ghost stories, as they go about their everyday lives together with their foreign husband.
In the 21st week, Toki (Takaishi) and the Matsuno family are relieved to see Heaven (Tommy Bastow) devoting himself to his writing in Kumamoto. Meanwhile, rumors spread that the school where Heaven works will be closing.
Without work, the large Matsuno family would not be able to survive. If teaching is no longer an option, the only way to earn a living is through writing. However, Heaven is too busy with her school work to do so. Toki and the others decide to help Heaven with her writing.
