The second episode, "Two Blades," of "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" (TV Asahi, Sundays 9:30 a.m.), the first installment of Toei's new special effects series, "PROJECT RED," will be broadcast on February 22nd.
Gavan Bushido/Setsuna (Akabane Ryuga), the "Space Sheriff Gavan" of the multi-Earth Lambda 8018 (Lambda Hachimaru Hito Hachi), becomes suspicious of Gavan Infinity/Reiji (Nagata Kohei), who has been vaporized onto Gavan, even though there should not be two of them, and tries to question Reiji.
Meanwhile, in an attempt to silence the arrested Kuzumi (Fukuyama Shota), the head of a criminal organization, Karasumaro (Miyashita Yuya), attacks Setsuna and his friends. Seeing Reiji burning with rage at the series of incidents, Setsuna...!
"Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" is a completely new "Gavan" that inherits the visuals and space-set sci-fi elements of "Space Sheriff Gavan," which aired from 1982 to 1983, while being reconstructed using the latest visual expression and directing methods. The story unfolds in a worldview based on the "multiverse theory," which holds that there is not just one universe. The script was written by Atsuhiro Tomioka, who served as the main writer for the Super Sentai series "Bakujo Sentai Bunbunger" (2024-2025).
