The fourth episode of the popular TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Ryohei Suzuki, aired on February 15th. The connection between Goroku (Yukiya Kitamura), the head of an underground organisation, and inspector Makita (Hideaki Ito) became a hot topic among viewers.

Makita calls Hayase (Suzuki) who is pretending to be Gido. When he asks Hayase why he checked Ichika's (Toda Erika) background, he laughs and says, "(Ichika) is the financial officer of Goroku's company. You're connected to Fuyuhashi (Nagase Ren), so you're investigating the people at Goroku's company. There are a lot of connections."
Furthermore, he also mentioned that Natsumi (Yamaguchi Sayaka) was working as a consultant for Goroku's company. Looking intently at Hayase's face as he tried to brush it off by saying, "It was just a coincidence," he provoked her by saying, "You look really cornered. That's nice."
"We're on duty, so is it okay if we leave now?" said Hayase, grabbing his shoulder as he tried to leave, and Makita declared, "Go eat something tasty while you can. The crime of betraying the people is serious."
Makita's comment reminded many viewers of Goroku, who cornered Hayase by saying, "Please have a delicious meal before you leave." Goroku served the traitor a dish he had prepared himself and then had his subordinates dispose of him.
On social media, people were excited, saying things like, "Makita's line, 'Let's have something tasty...' sounds suspiciously like Goroku," "Makita's 'Let's have something tasty while we can,' is too similar to Goroku's usual 'Eat something delicious,'" "I'm willing to bet on the possibility that these two have rebooted and switched bodies," "There's a sense of connection between Makita and Goroku, maybe in the way they speak or the way they think," and "In other words, Goroku and Makita are completely in on it. They connected with each other at the end when they said, 'Let's have something tasty,'"
The drama is a suspense story about Hayase Riku, who is framed for the murder of his wife, abandoning his family and past, rebooting himself into the face of corrupt detective Gido, and pursuing the real culprit.
