It has been announced that the play "Marquise de Sade," directed by Miyamoto Amon and performed at Kinokuniya Southern Theater Takashimaya (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) since January, will be streamed for a limited time on WOWOW On Demand PPV and other platforms from 3:00 PM on February 18th.
The play is based on the play of the same name by author Yukio Mishima, and was adapted for the stage to mark the centennial of Mishima's birth. It's a dialogue drama between six women, but the cast is all male, including actors Hiroki Narimiya, Masahiro Higashide, Ryosuke Miura, Sasuke Otsuru, Yasuyuki Shuto, and Masaya Kato. This marks Narimiya's first collaboration with Miyamoto in 25 years since his acting debut.
The streaming platforms are WOWOW On Demand PPV, PIA LIVE STREAM (Ticket Pia), and streaming+ (ePlus). Streaming tickets will be on sale from 1:00 PM on February 18th to 7:00 PM on March 11th. The price is 4,950 yen, and the streaming period is from 3:00 PM on February 18th to 11:59 PM on March 11th.
