It has been revealed that Yuchami will be appearing as a main cast member in the film "Agito: Psychic War" (released April 29th), which commemorates the 55th anniversary of Kamen Rider's birth. Although Yuchami is active as a model and TV personality, this will be her first time appearing in a film. She will play Kamen Rider G6/Aoi Ruriko, a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Unidentified Lifeform Countermeasures Special Armed Unit (commonly known as G Unit).
The film is the latest theatrical release of "Kamen Rider Agito" (2001-02), the second film in the Heisei Kamen Rider series, which recorded the highest average audience ratings of the series. Kaname Jun, who played Kamen Rider G3/Hikawa Makoto in "Agito," stars in the lead role, and the original cast reunites, including Kasumi Toshiki, who plays Kamen Rider Agito/Tsugami Shoichi. As with the TV series, Tasaki Ryuta will serve as director, and Inoue Toshiki will be writing the script. In a world where people are beginning to awaken to "psychic powers" one after another, the film depicts the rampages of those with powers and the resolve of those without. Rated PG12.
Aoi Ruriko (Yuchami) is a member of the G Unit, the same unit that Hikawa Makoto once belonged to as the wearer of the special reinforced armor "G3." Ruriko inherits that lineage and wears the latest special reinforced armor "G6," becoming "Kamen Rider G6" to fight against the psychics who are plunging the city into chaos. Although she has a foul mouth, she is a character with a strong sense of justice, and is said to have suppressed the bright smile she usually shows on variety shows and instead shows a cool expression.
Yuchami revealed that she was surprised by the offer, saying, "When I heard about this project, the first thing I thought was, 'Is this a prank?' (laughs)! I mean, a gal is going to be in Kamen Rider! And in a police role! It felt like it was full of prank elements!" She also said, "I am truly honored and moved to be able to be involved in this project. Please come see Yuchami as Kamen Rider, and Agito in its 25th anniversary, in the theater!!! Thank you!!!"
Additional cast members have also been announced. The malevolent psychics who use their powers as they please will be played by Hiroaki Iwanaga, who appeared in "Kamen Rider OOO" (2010-2011), Shin Aoshima, who appeared in "Kamen Rider Geets" (2022-2023), Satoshi Kaneda of the comedy duo "Hannya," and actor Suzunosuke. Additionally, Imai Yuki will play Kurotani, a psychic who cooperates with G-Unit, Komakine Ryusuke will play Oyama, an inmate at the prison where Hikawa is incarcerated, and Becky will play Kasumi, Hojo's (Jun Yamazaki) ex-fiancee.
