The March issue of voice actor magazine "Seiyuu Grand Prix" (Imagica Infos) went on sale on February 10th. The supplement is the latest edition of the magazine's popular supplement "Seiyuu Meikan 2026: Female Edition," which features a record 1,135 female voice actors, breaking the previous record for the 15th consecutive year. When "Seiyuu Meikan" was first published as a supplement in 2001, it featured 225 female voice actors. In the 25 years since, the number of female voice actors featured has increased more than fivefold.
The 2008 edition of the Voice Actor Directory featured over 500 female voice actors. The 2022 edition also drew attention when it surpassed the milestone of 1,003.
The cover and main feature of this issue is "School Idol Master" from the "Idol Master" series, with voice actors appearing. A very long interview of over 25,000 characters was also published.
