On February 10th, actor Ryusei Yokohama, who serves as the Dior Japan ambassador, attended the opening event of the Dior Bamboo Pavilion concept store (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo), which Dior will open in Daikanyama, Tokyo.
With February 14th approaching, when asked about her memories of Valentine's Day, she laughed and said, "Nothing in particular," before adding, "I have a fan club, and every year for Valentine's Day I come up with various designs of merchandise and send them to my supporters."
He said that the photo to be used on this year's merchandise was chosen by fan voting, and he smiled, saying, "The manly photo came in first, and as a man, I was happy that people wanted this kind of photo!"
The Dior Bamboo Pavilion is a concept store with a design inspired by Japanese bamboo forests, where you can experience the world of Dior, from men's and women's fashion to jewelry and custom-made items. It will also have a cafe and will open on February 12th.
Yokohama said, "The exterior, covered in yellow bamboo, is very beautiful. It combines Japanese culture with Dior's modern luxury, and I was impressed to see the creation of a Dior that is uniquely Japanese."
Dior Japan ambassadors Yuko Araki, Rikako Yagi, and Takumi Kitamura also attended the opening event.
