The figure of Kamen Rider (old No. 1) from the special effects drama series "Kamen Rider," "Ultimate Article Kamen Rider Old No. 1" (Megahouse), will be resold on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, "Premium Bandai." It will cost 30,800 yen.
The figure stands approximately 40cm tall and recreates the heroic figure of the time when Fujioka Hiroshi, who played Takeshi Hongo, himself served as the suit actor. Attention has been paid to the fine details, such as the texture of the original deerskin suit, the catch-type metal fittings on the Typhoon belt, the tuning plate for the energy converter, and the toggle switch. It also comes equipped with light and sound gimmicks, with the eyes and forehead lighting up, and the background music "Let's Go!! Rider Kick" playing. The included optional arm allows it to be used in the Rider Chop action pose.
Pre-orders are being accepted on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai, with shipping scheduled for June.
